BURLINGAME — November 2, 2026. Burlingame Public Library’s fall event calendar lists an open sewing lab on Tuesdays, 2–4 p.m., in the Main Library’s Tech Lab.
What attendees can do
The city describes a drop-in workshop where visitors may bring existing projects and thread or begin using the library’s sewing equipment. No prior sewing experience is advertised as necessary.
An option beyond reading rooms
The library’s Tech Lab also hosts computer-help and mixed-reality programs on selected dates, demonstrating that the building has learning resources beyond its book collection. These sessions may have their own staffing or registration rules.
Confirm before traveling
The Main Library is at 480 Primrose Road. People interested in a particular machine should check the current event calendar, whether assistance is available and whether equipment use is limited by time or group size.
